This past weekend a last minute opportunity dropped in my lap to photograph two events at the Food Network New York Wine and Food Festival. The first was Anne Burrell's Rock and Bowl Party to launch her first cook book, Cook Like a Rock Star: 125 Recipes, Lessons, and Culinary Secrets.
The host of Secrets of a Restaurant Chef and Worst Cooks in America, and Next Iron Chef bowled, danced and shook her trademark spiked blond locks to the music during the festivities at Lucky Strike Lanes. Chef Burrell also took time chat, hug, and party with fans throughout the evening. Fans bowled, played pool, drank, ate, and ahd a great time.
Also in attendance at the fete was Claire Robinson of the Five Ingredient Fix, and she's even more petite in person. I'm not sure that's kosher for a Chef, but she seemed very sweet from what I could tell from our two five-second interactions, as she showed great concern for my lack of cocktail. I must admit that my level of sobriety was regrettable, but alas I opted not to drink since I was working for all intents and purposes. Well, Ms. Robinson if you ever want to share some of your quickie tricks over a girls night, I'm ready for my cosmo.

Thank you to Mina Productions, which put together the event, for giving me the chance to photograph the event and to Tara, the Fun, Fearless, Foodie, for hooking me up with the connection.
